What You'll Be Doing Here
You will play a critical role in ensuring our laboratory operations run seamlessly, accurately, and in strict compliance with quality standards.
Ensure all samples are handled correctly in accordance with CFA, SLMS, ISO, and QMS obligations, perform proficiency testing, and issue test results to Legionella responsible persons within agreed timescales.
Exercise independent judgment, maintain strict impartiality, and show resilience against outside pressure. Escalate any concerns, follow proper version-controlled documentation procedures, and support management in completing audit actions.
Prepare and perform equipment calibrations, conduct daily temperature and equipment checks, and handle general laboratory housekeeping.
Carry out stock checks, handle and record delivered stock, upload certificates of acceptance, and answer general enquiries where appropriate.
Who We're Looking For
Essential Requirements: An adequate understanding of mathematics, English, and biology.
Desirable Criteria: Previous experience working within an ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 laboratory environment.
Strong attention to detail, a resilient and impartial approach to compliance, excellent organisational skills, and a professional, proactive attitude.
